2017 Development Finance Agenda Forum
Venue: UCT Graduate School of Business
Date: 10 August 2017
You are cordially invited to attend this year’s Development Finance Agenda Forum which is organised by the UCT Graduate School of Business in partnership with the Africagrowth Institute and the Chartered Institute of Development Finance. The theme of the forum will be: International Ratings Requirements and Economic Transformation in South Africa: What are the connections and contradictions?
The aim of the Forum is to bring together government, development finance practitioners, students and other institutions working in the development finance space to discuss ways in which the development agenda of government and the policy implementation targets of international rating agencies can mutually converge to strengthen the economic and transformational drivers of South Africa. The forum will examine ways and means in which issues around rating attributes influence or are being influenced by economic transformation in, for instance, the context of government’s development plans and targets. The forum will take place on 10 August 2017 at the UCT Graduate School of Business.
