|The course aims to equip participants with the key concepts and practical applications of international trade theory and policies. It provides an analysis of the changing patterns of international trade, the effect of international trade liberalization on income distribution, the effect of trade and investment on growth, the evolution of regional and bilateral trade agreements with respect to developing economies, as well as the motives for and consequences of modern trade policies for individual developing economies and the wider international community.
