Course Aims |
This course aims to equip practitioners and candidates with up to date knowledge on financing small and medium enterprises. The course specifically deals with how entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, and outside investors create new entities and take risk. The course prepares participants for a wide variety of situations and problems that start-ups might confront in an entrepreneurial venture. From a unique and direct focus on value creation as the objective of each strategic and financial choice that an entrepreneur or investor makes, to the influences of risk and uncertainty on new venture success, and methods of financial modeling and contract design and the role of public policy in small enterprise development, participants will receive a an introductory, intermediate and advanced level material for success in managing small and medium scale enterprises. |
